Manny

 Update 2/4/2013:
Update: Manny Had to go in for exploratory surgery after a mass was found near his stomach.  Good news: the mass is not cancer, it was his appendix and needed to be drained. He was neutered today, had 2 masses removed and will go out for biopsy, and a couple teeth extractions. Has a long recovery but good news for now. And.... He has gained 4 lbs in 2 days too. Thank u all for the prayers.

He will need to go under for more tooth extractions, and after all is said and done, he will still need to undergo heartworm treatment.  This boy has already been through so much, and has a long ways to go, so please keep him in your thoughts!

Update 2/2/2013:Please Donate and Share!!
Update on Manny: Manny's growth on his 'man parts' & back toe need to be removed, his teeth are cracked & broken, so he will need extractions. He had ear mites, he's also cryptorchid so they'll have to fish out the other testicle when he's neutered. The x-rays that animal control took of his heart also showed something in his stomach but there's only a piece of it visible since the stomach wasn't the main focus of the xray. As skinny as he is, God only knows what he ingested just to fill his tummy. Once he endures all of this, he will also need Heartworm treatment on top of all that! This boy is a handsome boy and his vet bills are estimated to be over $1200, so please help us out in any way you can.

1/31/2013:This boy is in obvious need of some groceries, a serious bath, and also has several medical issues.  He was vaccinated today, but there seems to be something wrong with his heart, so that will need to be looked at and testing done before he is neutered.  His back foot is bleeding, which will be checked tomorrow, along with a growth on his 'man parts' (see photo below).  He also has tons of hookworms and will also need eye surgery to correct ectropion, which will cost several hundred dollars (you can see this with his eyes).   We hope that these are the only issues he has, but we will know better tomorrow after a visit with the vet.  In the mean time we need to raise money for his surgery, testing, worms, and possible tumor removal.  Please consider donating towards his care, and if you cannot, please SHARE his story!  This poor boy deserves so much better, and we hope to make his life so much better from this point on...  Thank you!
