Soon after Audrey joined Florida Boxer Rescue, she unfortunately lost her battle with trying to gain weight. She was unable to walk from being weak and with all attempts failed to try and figure out what was wrong, the best thing to do was to help sweet Audrey over the rainbow bridge. Her family loved her dearly and she will forever be in our hearts. She was only with FBR for a short amount of time, but she will be a part of FBR forever...

After spending thousands of dollars and seeing several doctors, Audrey's family cannot determine why this sweet girl cannot keep food in her belly and put on any weight. Without any ideas left, her family came to Florida Boxer Rescue for help. We have decided to help by taking this sweet girl in. In the short amount of time Audrey has been on this earth, she has developed extremely severe food allergies and has not been able to keep much of her food down.

She has had exploratory surgery, X-rays, blood tests, seen three specialists, and none of them have had any luck. Currently she is on prescription foods, but in the process of determining what food would be best for this sweet girl, she began vomiting water and developed pneumonia. As of right now she is currently on IV antibiotics in order to help her pneumonia. She is beginning to lose muscle mass in her legs and is becoming more weak as the days go by. She is always so hungry and has a strong appetite, but keeps losing weight.

We are trying as hard as we can to keep searching for the next step, but we need some help. We need to raise funds to help pay for her current vet bills, and for her future vet bills. This girl is not available for adoption, and she has a wonderful foster home, so our main concern is to raise money and also send this girl some warm wishes.
